Matt Prakash

Matt Prakash is a Music and Finance major from Orlando, Florida. Matt has been involved in a cappella since high school, where he was the music director of his a cappella group, and is now serving as a Director of Music for Gestalt. Matt has extensive choral experience and currently sings in the University Concert Choir and Chamber Singers on campus. Outside of Gestalt, Matt is a choral scholar at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church and was a castaway on Season 4 of Survivor Florida. Between the friends he has made and the art he has taken part in creating, Gestalt has been the highlight of Matt’s time at UF. He cherishes having the opportunity to make music with some of the most talented people he has encountered, as they inspire him to be the best musician and person he can possibly be.
